I have been photographing weddings for over 15 and I can honestly say I love my job! To witness and document such an important and emotional event is a real privilege.

Photography has always been a passion of mine ever since I got my first camera for xmas at the age of 9. I have been a full time, fully insured, professional photographer for over 12 years now and have almost 500 weddings under my belt.

I have a very relaxed and informal approach to wedding photography. Apart from a few posed shots, most of the photos I take are natural, undirected photos.

I love to use any local scenery or landscape as a backdrop for my photos.

I believe the best pictures are ones when people don’t know they are having their photo taken! …and I often go into “stealth mode” while taking shots at weddings!

I like to use the golden hour (that gorgeous time of day just before the sun goes down) to get some extra shots in the evening if the schedule allows it.

I’m not a fan of having my photo taken and I understand other peoples anxieties too. I won’t get “in your face” and I always try to be as unobtrusive as possible.

I like to be organised! I like a list of your required group shots in advance so I can organise myself to get them done with as little fuss as possible.

I love a good party and a full dance floor as this can produce some epic shots!

I’ve been a professional photographer for a number of years now, working both as a Wedding and a Commercial Photographer. As well as servicing over 30 weddings each year; I also have a busy schedule throughout the week; tackling far ranging shoots from motorsport, portrait to product photography. I’m also a professional motorsport photographer providing Knockhill Racing Circuit – Scotland’s National Motorsport Centre – with a dedicated photography service for their events, corporate and trackday activities.
